Commencement has come and passed. The last two years at Sacramento state as a transfer student took a lot, mostly it took my time. My semester calendars had been cramped with color coded blocks that chunked out my time. It ruled my life! I don’t think I can ever go back to having a plane calendar. Honestly, I already miss it. Not University, god no. No, I miss having goals and deadlines and projects to work on.
University was fun but I’m ready to move forward with my life. I don’t expect my degree to give me some sort of magic ticket to a role for work, not in this economy and not that I would ever expect anyone for any reason to hand me anything. So, what am I going to do? What’s Next?
There are so many goals I have in mind. The first is creating this website and not prompting some AI to do it for me. I need more control for what I want to create. That means learning some web development skills.
I will be updating my blog as much as I can just mostly to document my projects for myself along the way. I need somewhere to focus my work. I will also be posting short stories and maybe some chapters from a few books I’m working on. I will also be working on the formation of a creative agency. Yes, I will be starting my own company.
I do question sometimes why I enjoy giving myself work but I guess that is what drive is, also i just have so many ideas and stories i want to share. This will be the first post of many, I plan to be updating my website with something more on brand but I’m working on that offline. The current website setup is just temporary as I learn the skills to develop my vision.
